The test team pump up some of the latest freeride wing designs to see how they fly.

OVERVIEW

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from observing the wing market in the past year, it’s that innovation is unrelenting, with remarkable advancements making each season more exhilarating than the last. There has been a multitude of improvements in a variety of different areas, from the materials used, to innovative stitching techniques, and a variety of handle/boom designs. The sport of winging itself has taken on some immense momentum, making the arena of wind sports come alive once more. This excitement is bringing experts from a variety of sports, from surfing, kiting, windsurfing, and other foiling sports, into one arena, making it a breeding ground for new and exciting innovation. So let’s get straight into the heart of the matter with a review of some of the most anticipated freeride wings for 2023. Buckle up as we cruise through the innovative design concepts.

SUMMARY

The

GA Poison, with its feather-light build and eye-catching design, has impressive balance and is an accessible wing that also performs at a high level. The
